California Surf Museum

The California Surf Museum archives and displays surfboards, surf art, memorabilia, surfing equipment, photographs, magazines, videos, and more. A popular long term exhibit at the museum features Bethany Hamilton and includes the shark-bitten board, swimsuit she was wearing on the fateful day, and her documentary Heart of a Soul Surfer. Learn about the history of surfing, be inspired, and walk on down to the beach afterward! The California Surf Museum is only blocks away from Oceanside Pier.

The Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum has a great collection of antique farm equipment that still works. Have you ever been to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad and taken a tractor ride?
