Despite warnings to beware the Ides of March, Caesar goes to the senate and is killed, leaving the future of Rome in question. An action-packed drama that raises a timeless question: is the killing of an aspiring tyrant justifiable in order to avert dictatorship? [image]

Play: Willy Wonka at the STAR Theatre in Oceanside

STCK announces their presentation of the timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir. This stage adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Roald Dahl’s WILLY WONKA, with a memorable score by Leslie Bricusse, Anthony Newley, follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding five golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whoever finds these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory–or suffer the consequences.

There will be photo spot opportunities, refreshments and specials on Poinsettias.

This exhibit is going on until March 2014. You’ll need to call the GIA 24 hours in advance to see the exhibit.

This breathtaking exhibit features old Hollywood glamour with over-the-top jewelry pieces put together by famed Hollywood set and costume designer Tony Duquette and his partner Hutton Wilkinson. Wilkinson was once quoted as saying, “If it’s not fabulous, it’s meaningless.”
