Friday Night Live
Every Friday night now until October 24
Jam to free live music at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street in Carlsbad Village! Every Friday night from now through October 24 will feature artists performing their music on the street (no music on July 4th or September 9th). Grab a bite to eat or a drink nearby, then stand under the Carlsbad Village stars to enjoy some tunes.

Carlsbad Music Festival’s Village Walk
June 21, 4-10 p.m.
The Carlsbad Music Festival Village Walk is a free event to bring the whole community together. With more than 50 musicians performing in Carlsbad Village, the Village Walk celebrates music and adventure by bringing a diverse group of musicians to one area. The performers this year range in genres from Latin-Chinese fusion, New Orleans jazz, bluegrass, Irish, and more!
Float n’ Flick Movie Series
July 12 and 26, August 9 and 23, 7-10 p.m.

If you love movies and the pool, the Float n’ Flick Movie Series is the perfect summer event for you! Bring an inflatable air mattress (or whatever you want to float on) to Alga Norte Community Park, and watch a movie on the water and under the stars in the warm water instructional pool. The movies on all dates are from 7-10 p.m. and cost is $8 per person. All ages are welcome.

Carlsbad Grand Prix
July 20, all day
The Carlsbad Grand Prix is a 0.9 mile closed cycling course that welcomes more than 600 junior, amateur, professional, and Paralympics cyclists, as well as over 3,000 spectators! The timed races offer cash and prizes for the winners and coincides with the Carlsbad Family Fun Race that brings in an additional 500 participants.
This mega sporting event is free for spectators and also offers a Healthy Lifestyle Expo open to the public, including music, food, and games for the whole family! Come out and see this national-level racing event!
